Cherry Thanks

When I saw the small cherries in the newly released Summer Vibes set I knew I wanted to create a background using them and pair it with the Summer Fruits set. I stamped the cherries on white cardstock and colored them making sure to leave some not colored for a little contrast. The larger cherry image was already colored in my stash. All I had to do was darken up the leaves a bit to make it match the background.

I cut the green gingham paper to fit the front of the card and attached to the card base. Next, I added tape to the back of the cherry background panel(4 1/4 x 5 1/2) and positioned it at an angle over the card base. Once I was happy with placement I pressed down and trimmed off the excess. I die cut a circle, stamped the sentiment from the Thank You set and glued the cherry image to the front.  I wrapped red string around the front of the card tying in a bow, attached the circle panel with foam tape and added 3 small green gemstones.
