The new Dazzling Dahlia is gorgeous! For today's blog hop I chose to color this image, but I showcased some non-coloring ways to use this beauty here.
I stamped the images onto canson xl watercolor paper with Ranger Archival black ink. I colored the flowers and leaves with Altenew's Spring Garden Watercolor Brush
Markers (moss, warm sunshine and autumn blaze) and fussy cut
out. I originally colored the flower all yellow (warm sunshine), but felt it needed more so I added a layer of Autumn Blaze. I cut the black panel with a stitched rectangle die. I embossed the sentiment from Sentimental Wordfetti with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. I assembled the card as seen adding some black enamel dots as the finishing touch.
Thanks for stopping by and your next stop on the hop is the amazing Lee Ann Barrett!
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
