Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps April Release Hop & Giveaway

We are so excited to be hopping today with some inspiration with the amazing April Release. Hop along and leave a little comment love for the designers linked below and you just might be the lucky winner of a $25 gift voucher to the Sweet n' Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, April 28th.

My first card features Just Married from the April Release and the out of the vault Hearts Die Set.

I stamped the image and sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink on white cardstock. I embossed the car with clear embossing powder, colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens and fussy cut out. I stamped the love sentiment from the set with Versamark ink on white cardstock and embossed with clear embossing powder.

I die cut the panel with a stitched edge rectangle die and then ink blended Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink over a portion of it. I die cut a small heart and colored it red then cut a banner tail on the sentiment. I assemble as seen on a gray card base popping the image and sentiment up with foam tape.

My second card features the brand new Everyday Greetings 2 along with previously released True Beauty, Background Builders: Stripes and Bookmarks & More Die Set.

Everyday Greetings 2 is filled with fantastic sentiments and I love the mix of bold with a smaller font!

To create this card, I decided to pull from my stash of extras. I actually have quite the pile of colored images, backgrounds and die cuts so I was glad to put them to good use. The blue background was created with Versamark ink and the Stripe background set. I love this ink for a more subtle tone on tone look.

The multi step roses were stamped with shades of pinks, purples and greens and fussy cut out. I stamped the sentiment with black ink on the bookmark and trimmed to fit the blue die cut panel. I assembled pieces on a white card base popping the bookmark and portions of the flowers and leaves up with foam tape. As the final touch, I added some small white pearls around the sentiment.

Best Wishes

Hello everyone, I am loving all the new goodies in the April Release! For today's post, I chose to play with Just Married and Make Music Stencil to create a card you can use for either a wedding or birthday card.

I began by stamping the image and sentiment with VersaFine Claire Nocturne ink on white cardstock. I colored the image with Nuvo watercolor pencils and fussy cut out. I die cut the pink panel first and then dry embossed with the Make Music stencil using my die cut machine. I found die cutting first is better so it doesn't flatten out the dry embossing.

As I was going to assemble the card I felt it needed something more. So, I decided to stencil the Delightfully Delicate Stencil with pink ink on the white card base. I assembled as seen, cutting a banner end on the sentiment strip and adding some light pink sequins. I also popped up the pink panel, cake image and sentiment strip with foam tape.

The Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps VIP Group on Facebook hosts a monthly challenge. The April challenge is a themed one, upload any creation with a springtime theme. I think my card fits the bill. We would love to have you join us!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
