Hello everyone, I'm back with a sassy card for you today! Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is turning 14 this month and they have a full month of fun planned for all of you with weekly releases and sales! So exciting!
My sassy card today features this week's new release Joyful Day by Julee Tilman. I just had to pair the two sassy sentiments in this set with the previously released girl from A Little Snarky. I'll be posting my second card on Saturday.

I created the background back in August and you can find the directions here using the Grunge Dots Stencil. I stamped the girl, cupcake and sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat set. Then I colored the girl and cupcake with Altenew Artist Markers and fussy cut out. I cut the sentiment and background with stitched rectangle dies.
At this point, I thought the background was a little too bold. So I added some black paint splatters to it, matted it with black and attached to a white card base. I assembled as seen, popping the girl and sentiment up with foam tape. I glued the cupcake to the sentiment strip and added some black jewels from Pinkfresh Studio to finish it off.
