Hello Friend

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a quick way to color a large floral floral image. I don't always have the time or desire to spend time coloring images. So, for this card I pulled out some distress oxide inks to color the flower and leaves.

I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock large enough for the flower to fit on. I began in the middle of the cardstock with my darkest ink(ripe persimmon) and worked my way out towards the edges with the next two colors(wild honey and dried marigold). I heat set the ink and stamped the script background over the top of it with rusty hinge.

For the leaves, I used the same cardstock with twisted citron and mowed lawn as the base and stamped the script with rustic wilderness. I heat set both panels again and then embossed the flower and leaves over the top of the panels with versafine clair noctune ink and clear powder.

I hand trimmed the images and set aside. Next, I created an ink splatter background with the same inks as the flower along with black. I die cut the panel and attached to a really rust card base. I glued the leaves down, popped the flower up with foam tape and stamped the sentiment.
