Loved A Latte & FMS425

I had time to play today, so I created this card with sketch #425 from Freshly Made Sketches

I stamped the coffee cup from Fill Me Up on a previously made background with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and fussy cut out. I used the matching Fill Me Up Die to cut the top part of the coffee cup from a scrap piece of black cardstock. I lined the portion of the die that would be the bottom of the lid along the edge of the cardstock, by doing this I did not need to trim and had the perfect lid. I stamped the cup sleeve onto blue cardstock and cut out. I realized much too late, I did not think through where I stamped the coffee cup and how the background would line up with the cup sleeve. My alpha background isn't showing the way I had hoped. Oops!

I sponged the edges of the white cardstock with orchid opulence ink and added some black paint splatters. I stamped the words, cut some coordinating cardstock strips and trimmed the ends. I assembled the card as seen, popping the coffee cup up with foam tape and added some sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
